Not when I went to college

Founded more than a century ago and located in Saratoga Springs, New York, on a beautiful 890-acre campus, Skidmore is a highly regarded liberal arts college known for its creative approaches to just about everything. The college’s core belief: creative thought matters.

The college costs $45,000 to attend. Carolyn Chernoff, visiting assistant
professor of sociology, is creating a special course on Ms. Cyrus, using the pop star “as a lens through which to explore sociological thinking about identity, entertainment, media and fame. Unfortunately, the way we talk about female pop stars and female bodies, class matters, gender matters, sexuality and sexual performance matters, but race matters a lot, and the way we talk about white pop stars is quite different than how we talk about the bodies of women of color. [Ms. Cyrus] complicates representations of the female body in pop culture in some ways that are good, bad and ugly.”

I can guarantee you, if you take that course and others like, you will end up tending bar with a $45,000 student loan to pay off.
