Liberal Loser of the Day award goes to Eric Holder. A prestigious award exemplifying all that is wrong with the American ruling elite. Follow
this, the Obama administration and Eric holder prominently, as well as Michael Bloomberg, tried to capitalize on and exploit the deaths of children in elementary school shooting to piggyback one of the left’s cherished generational goals- to take your guns. They will not rest and they will not consider themselves totally successful, until they have disarmed the American people, so that we no longer have a means of fighting back.
Every day in every way, they to try to figure out how to do this. They couldn’t get it through Congress even the common sense registration or background checks, couldn’t get anything through the Congress. So, here is Eric Holder and what he is going to do: it’s called Operation Chokepoint. He is going to take the Justice Department through a “credit card fraud probe focusing on banks and credit payment processors.” He’s going to tell the banks under Operation Chokepoint, which customers present “reputational risk“ to do business with. In another words gun manufacturers, gun stores, gun shows, etc.
The Black Rifle Armory in Henderson, Nevada had its bank accounts frozen this month, as the bank tried to determine whether any of Black Rifles online transactions were ‘suspicious’. This is also not new. In 2012 Bank of America dropped the 12 year account of Macmillan Group International, a gun manufacturer in Phoenix, even though the company had a good credit history. The gun parts maker American Spirit Arms in Scottsdale, Arizona received similar treatment by Bank of America.
After a few early successes like the above, it has emboldened them to create the ongoing Operation Chokepoint that now applies to all banks and it will now apply to all sources of guns. If you can’t outlaw it legislatively, then it becomes something you prevent from getting capital. The Top Gun Firearms Training and Supply in Miami felt the sting first-hand, Bank United dumped the online business. In an e-mail from the bank it said in part “This letter in no way reflects any derogatory reasons for such action on your behalf, rather one of industry. Unfortunately, your company’s line of business is not commensurate with the industries we work with .” In other words, the bank is telling them don’t blame us you are credit worthy and in a free society we would be lending you money, because we want to make money. Unfortunately we don’t live in a free society and the government has told us what to do and we have to do it because we are too big to fail, and therefore we can’t work with you anymore.
We now have direct executive control over who stays in business and who doesn’t in this country by executive action in “law enforcement.”
