Do you realize that the civil rights of Americans are expanding, NOT contracting, they are being extended by the Attorney General of the United States the head of the Just-Us Department. Attorney General Eric Holder has announced a new interpretation of the 1964 Civil Rights Act. He says the 1964 Civil Rights Act now means that employers may not discriminate against people who claim the status of a transgendered person. It is not only the president that thinks he can just ignore laws and make up laws and make up regulations and do whatever he wants to do it is now the Attorney General . Holder says “This important shift will ensure that the protection of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 are extended to those who suffer discrimination based on gender identity, including transgender status”.

Where does he come up with that? It is not written into the law itself. Legal changes have been made to the law in the past in the form of amendments.    It doesn’t matter to Holder and the Just-Us Department, it should be in the law, therefore I’m saying it is. This process seems to just be going on and on- it never seems to stop.

Should transgendered people be protected against discrimination? Let’s have the debate, we have a process called Congress to amend, if needed, the 1964 law. I can tell you right now that the members of Congress, both those who voted for and voted against the 1964 Civil Rights Act never intended or even imagined this would be an issue for the law back in 1964.

How do you fundamentally change America? You have the Just-Us Department modify laws at their whim.
