Give me work or give me porn

An executive at the Environmental Protection Agency, of the federal government admitted to investigators that he watched up to six hours of pornography on his federally provided computer while he was “at work.” He has yet to fired, demoted, or disciplined. Last year the EPA Office of Inspector General released a report about the use of pornography within the EPA. They are not the only ones who do not use their computer for work. I worked at AT&T and we had access only to the programs on the internet that they would allow us to have. Attempts to circumvent the restrictions warranted a warning, then a firing.

Remember the group that was supposed to be watching the offshore platforms. When the blowout occurred in the Gulf of Mexico and they found out that those people were enjoying some nicely oiled and tanned flesh instead of watching the flow of crude oil.

Mark Meadows who is a Republican from North Carolina in the House of Representatives says that maybe it is going to take legislation. I would hope not! This is a reason for firing, this is unacceptable behavior, it is first of all a hostile workplace by definition and we should not allow it here particularly with liberals who are constantly talking about gender issues, including hostile workplace and equal pay for equal work. Therefore, Mark Meadows tweeted to the Justice Department that it is a shame that it requires an act of Congress to ensure that federal agencies block access to porn sites. He introduced this same legislation in the last Congress where it went nowhere. We certainly do not want to take away simple pleasures from those hard working bureaucrats trying to sort out the messes we make for them.
