Weaker in Review 10-10-2016

10/10/16

Random Oddservations™  The only time in the past 10 years I have agreed with Obama.  The veto of the 9/11 legislation was the correct thing to do.  Congress failed the country by overriding it.

You know those commercials for McDonalds, and Wendy’s and Burger King all have on the bottom in little tine letters “Price and participation may vary”.  I had that happened to me.  Went to a Dairy Queen and they were a local franchise and they would not honor the national pricing on the Belt-Buster burger.

Isn’t it interesting all these famous stars and sportspersons who claim they will move to Canada if Trump is elected.  How come they don’t want to move to Mexico?

Have you ever wondered after all these storms, what happens to all those emergency sandbags?  Who takes away the wet bag and sand?

The Correct Side of the Story

  • An atheist biologist, P.Z. Myers continues with his useless rant: “Why can’t you explain why you believe without resorting to hand-waving, fuzzy, unconvincing nonsense?” https://iamnotanatheist.wordpress.com/2016/09/26/atheism-wasted-science/
  • Having been an Atheist for some 25 years (from 15 to 38) I knew what I knew I didn’t know.  But as I have retired and had free time, I wanted to understand the essence of atheism and, as an intellectual exercise, to be able to think again like an Atheist. Supplemented by my love of science, and my 30 years of being a computer software designer, the following analysis is the result of this interesting thought experiment. https://iamnotanatheist.wordpress.com/2016/09/19/atheism-as-a-religion/

I used to write comments in FB postings but then realized that was unfair because the others could not comment back.  However, these next two posts I feel that I had to write some comments on them:
