Why I am who I am

contrarian_thinking

I haven’t written much in a long time here, but it is time to get back to it and produce some facts out and hopefully discuss some things.

There are some 300 articles under the uncategorized tab.

I am sorry that what I write about does not conveniently fit into your particular preconceived ideas and notions of a belief system that makes it easier for you to understand my point of view.

My first response would be – hey figure me out for yourself. However, I guess that isn’t fair to everyone else. Nevertheless, the following comes with a caveat- I can change my mind at any time based upon any kind or type of information that comes along by any means I happen to receive it and believe it to be a fair and accurate reinterpretation of anything I may have said in the past.

First, I describe myself as a contrarian. Look it up. Now you are probably saying – HUH! Look it up somewhere other than Wikipedia, as a real dictionary, and then you might begin to understand the subtleties. The best description is that famous 12-ounce glass filled with 6 ounces of fluid. The optimist says it is half-full, the pessimist says it is half-empty.   I say the glass is twice the size it needs to be. All three answers are correct, but mine is based upon just the facts available. My statement is not tainted by any preconceived notions or personal prejudices that the other two had in making their observations. Others have stated ‘because just 6-oz were poured, or the other 6-oz was spilled or drank’ but those all presume information not supported by the facts stated.

There have been several discussions about the above and those have been transferred to my other blog: IAmNotAnAtheist.wordpress.com which deals with the conflicts between theists and secular society.

I have another blog at lemarshall.wordpress.com which concentrates on Intelligent Design and the scientists involved and their contribution.  Some of the beauty of our designed universe is displayed and discussions on various aspects.

Another blog is CreationsBigBang.wordpress.com which discusses biblical science about origins science how and why all science is derived from the inerrancy of God’s word given to us through the Bible.

Not to leave out politics, I have a blog at votetheincumbentsout.wordpress.com to learn about the constitution and how to try to reform the system.

Check them out at your leisure.

  1. Its like you read my thoughts! You appear to understand so much approximately this, like you wrote the
book in it or something. I believe that you simply could do with
a few p.c. to pressure the message house a little bit,
however other than that, that is magnificent blog.
A great read. I’ll certainly be back.

  2. Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this blog.

It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very difficult to get that “perfect balance” between usability and appearance.

I must say you’ve done a excellent job with this.
Additionally, the blog loads extremely quick for me on Firefox.
    Superb Blog! http://www.yahoo.net

  3. Thank ʏou for sharing ʏour thougһts. I reaⅼly ɑppreciate уour efforts and I

  4. You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be really something which I think I
would never understand. It seems too complex and very broad
for me. I am looking forward for your next post,
I will try to get the hang of it!

  5. I’m not that much of a internet reader in all honesty however your blogs are very nice, keep it up!
I’ll go ahead and bookmark your site to come back in the future.
    Best wishes
